European Day of Languages 2020
Take part in our European Day of Languages Multilingual Scavenger Hunt!
Published: 2020-09-17
Join us on a unique online journey from one European country to another via an interactive map and discover the fascinating world of languages through an exciting digital scavenger hunt.
The map will be live from 15.00 to 21.00 on Saturday 26 September 2020.
Adults and children will be invited to solve riddles, the answers of which will be ‘hidden’ on the websites of the EUNIC members participating in this year’s celebration.
Everyone who manage to solve the riddles will be entered in a lottery with a range of prizes offered by EUNIC members in Greece. The draw will take place immediately after the end of the hunt and the winners will be announced on the digital scavenger hunt website, as well as on EUNIC members’ websites.

The European Day of Languages was established in 2001 to support and promote Europe’s rich linguistic diversity and the development of language skills so as to enable its citizens to play their full part in democratic citizenship in Europe and preserve Europe’s multicultural identity.
European Day of Languages 2020 is being organised as part of EUNIC Athens’ 2nd European Cultures Week, supported by Athens Culture Net and the Representation of the European Commission in Greece.
