The Swedish Institute at Athens, the Institutes and Embassies of the Northern Countries in Athens, the Library of the Northern Countries and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Kavala invite you to the opening of the exhibition The Nordics which will take place at the Archaeological Museum of Kavala on Wednesday 28 September 2022 at 19.00.

Τhe exhibitions that will be presented:

Brave and clever people - Travelers from the Northern Countries tell
and
Swedish representatives of the Red Cross in Greece during World War II.

At the opening, there will be a speech by Dr. Björn Forsén on the subject: Scandinavian travelers in Greece. From the Vikings to today.

The opening will be attended by the Counselor of the Swedish Embassy, Mr. Pär Skånberg and the director of the Swedish Institute at Athens, Mrs. Jenny Wallensten
