Athens Garden Festival: Bees and Buzz

Bee Spot in Kitsiki park, Kolonaki

Published: 2021-09-21

We are transforming Kitsiki park to a bee friendly oasis in the grey city center. Join us and help us create a Bee Spot with The Bee Camp team! Together we will create a safe haven for the city bees and other pollinators. With natural materials, we will make an insect hotel for the city bees and we will plant bee friendly plants that provide pollen and nectar all year long to the starving bee urban populations. Join us to make the center of Athens more greener and more bee friendly while learning all about biodiversity, bees and their important role! This event is part of the Bees & Buzz activities, that aims to create awareness on the protection of the urban biodiversity, focusing on the vital role of parks and green spaces for supporting pollinators in urban environments.

Sunday 26 September at 11.00, Kitsiki park, entrance from Deinokratous street.
