At the Crossroads of Greek Religion: Interactions with the Eastern Mediterranean.

The workshop takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in a hy­brid for­mat with live pres­ence at the Swedish In­sti­tute at Athens, Mit­seon 9, and on­line via Zoom.

It is co-organized by Filippo Lepori (Uppsala University), Gunnel Ekroth (Uppsala University) and the Swedish Institute at Athens .

It is with great pleasure that we announce the international Roundtable Resilience and Reconciliation: Democracy in Crisis and Repair across History, organized by the Swedish Institute at Athens in cooperation with the Netherlands Institute at Athens and the other Nordic institutes: the Finnish, the Danish and the Norwegian Institutes at Athens.

The Roundtable, consisting of two sessions, will take place on 29 April 2026 at the Swedish Institute at Athens.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 7 January 2026. 

We are delighted to invite you to the official Athens launch of the Digital Periegesis (periegesis.org) on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, 10 to 11 am, at the Swedish Institute at Athens, Mitseon 9. At the launch event, the Digital Periegesis team will present the interface, demonstrate its functions, and discuss its potential for research, education, and heritage engagement.
