Jazz Sessions in Kavala, 2021

at the Municipal Conservatory of Kavala

In collaboration with Kavalla Municipality, the Municipal Conservatory of Kavalla, the Jazz departments of Fridhem Folk High School and Ionian University, the educational and cultural project Jazz Sessions in Kavala takes place for the second time, with students and lecturers from Sweden and Greece.

For three days, from December 9 to December 11, 2021, two groups, consisting of six students from each educational department, will work together and play at the music conservatory of Kavalla, under the supervision of Anders Vestergård from Fridhem Folk High School and Dimos Dimitriadis from the Ionian University, as well as the composer and guitarist Andreas Hourdakis and composer and bassist Petros Klampanis.

Programme:

Jazz Sessions, Thursday December 9 till Saturday December 11, 2021.

Workshops (open to the public), Friday, December 10, 2021, at 7 p.m. held by Petros Klampanis, Dimos Dimitriadis and Anders Vestergård.

Concert (open to the public), Saturday December 11, at 8 p.m.
