Svenska institutet i Aten fortsätter samarbetet med Joniska universitetet i Grekland och Fridhems Folkhögskola.

På fredag den 18 december kl. 13.00-17.00 (svensk tid) kommer musikerna Andreas Hourdakis (gitarr), Orfeas Wärdig Tsoukalas (saxofon), Magnus Bergström (kontrabas) och Johan Birgenius (trummor) hålla en digital jazzkonsert och workshops för de två lärosätenas jazzstudenter.

The quartet plays songs by Orfeas Wärdig Tsoukalas and Andreas Hourdakis. They discuss their songs and give examples of musical ideas.

Andreas Hourdakis talks about music psychology. How do you find the music? How do you prepare? The art of getting the most out of a performance.

Music theory and improvisation
17:00-18:00 (Greek time), 16:00-17:00 (Swedish time)
Orfeas Wärdig Tsoukalas talks about the connections between triads in improvisation and gives general tips.
