Saturday 17 September 2016, 12.00-16.00, Stoa tou Vivliou (Book Arcade), Athens
This Autumn, in partnership with EUNIC (European Union National Institutes of Culture), we are organizing the 3rd European Literary Walk where you will have the opportunity to meet the award winning Swedish author and journalist Jan Guillou and a number of other well-known writers from all over Europe.
Renowned writers, actors and journalists will read extracts from our guest writers’ work in the presence of the writers themselves at an event at the Book Arcade (Stoa tou Vivliou). Each reading will be followed by a conversation with the writer and will be repeated so that everyone will have the opportunity to take part in all the readings.
This year’s writers are:
– Jan Guillou (Swedish Institute at Athens)
– Ahren Warner (British Council)
– Martin Rueff (French Institute)
– Andrea Grill (Austrian Embassy)
– Juan Cruz Ruiz (Instituto Cervantes)
– Denisa Comanescu (Romanian Embassy)
– Antonis Georgiou and Irena Ioannidou-Adamidou (House of Cyprus)
– Barbara Nesvadbová (Czech Embassy)
– Saskia Trebing and Valentin Moritz (Goethe-Institut Athen)
– Dionisios Sturis (Embassy of the Republic of Poland)
– Dora Kaskali (Ministry of Culture)
