GERT WINGÅRDHS FÖRELÄSNING PÅ BENAKIMUSEET DEN 10 FEBRUARI 2010 ÄR INSTÄLLD PÅ GRUND AV FLYGLEDARSTREJK.
NYTT DATUM MEDDELAS SENARE.
Gert Wingårdh founded his company in 1977. After a number of minor interior projects and houses, he designed the partially sunken building at Öijared’s Country Club in Lerum outside of Gothenburg in 1986. The clubhouse attracted considerable attention and Wingårdhs was selected for an extension of the premises of the pharmaceutical company Astra Hässle (now Astra Zeneca). Beside Astra Zeneca, the electronics company Ericsson soon emerged as one of the key clients. Numerous awards and frequent publicity confirms Wingårdhs status as artistically leading in Sweden. Parallel to his architectural practice, Gert Wingårdh has also taken part in the public discussion on architecture and has been actively involved in teaching, currently as professor at Chalmers School of Architecture.
