The Institute publishes three scholarly publication series: the periodical Opuscula. Annual of the Swedish Institute in Athens and Rome (together with the Swedish Institute at Rome) and two monograph series, the Acta Instituti Atheniensis Regni Sueciae. Skrifter utgivna av Svenska Institutet i Athen. Series prima in 4°, and the Acta Instituti Atheniensis Regni Sueciae. Skrifter utgivna av Svenska Institutet i Athen. Series altera in 8°.The first volume of Opuscula Atheniensia appeared in 1953 and is published annually since 1996. The Acta publish monographs and collections of scholarly works such as conference volumes. The first volumes of both series were published in 1951. The Opuscula Atheniensia and the Acta publish works within the fields of Classical Archaeology and Ancient History, as well as Greek Philology. Responsibility for all publications lies with the Editorial Committee of the Swedish Institutes in Athens and Rome. The three series are from 2009 distributed by the Editorial Committee. The Editorial Committee consists of scholars from the universities of Göteborg, Lund, Stockholm and Uppsala and the Directors of the Swedish Institutes in Athens and Rome.
