The new Acropolis museum was inaugurated in June 2009 and is situated next to the Swedish Institute at Athens. In the museum are finds exhibited from the Acropolis such as kore statues, the Caryatids from the Erechtheion and relief sculpture from the Parthenon.The Acropolis museum seen from the terrace of the institute.
