The Swedish architects Bolle Tham & Martin Videgårdh Hansson gave a lecture for more than 300 persons at the New Benaki Museum, Pireos street. The presentatoin was organized in cooperation with the Hellenic Institute of Architecture and was the first in a series of events - lectures and exhibitions - named "Nordic diffractions of European archtecture".

Bolle Tham (1970) and Martin Videgård Hansson (1968) founded Tham & Videgård Hansson Architects in Stockholm 1999 and focus on architecture and design, from urban planning to building and interior design. The objective is to create a distinct and relevant architecture with the starting point in the unique context and the specific conditions of each project.

Tham & Videgård Hansson has been awarded prizes and nominations in international competitions and has also attracted attention for their experimental interiors and housing projects. In 2005 TVH won the open international competition for the new Kalmar Museum of Art. It was awarded the Kasper Salin Prize 2008 for best new architecture in Sweden, and shortlisted for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2009; the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture. In 2007, after prequalification of four international teams, TVH won the competition for the new School of Architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Currently, TVH work on the new Moderna Museet, the Swedish museum of modern art in Malmoe. Other ongoing and recently completed commissions include several housing and planning projects, the Ordos 100 house in China, a Nursery school at Telefonplan, the Museum of Architecture in Stockholm, and a new permanent exhibition at the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities.

As an integrated part of the architectural practice, Bolle Tham and Martin Videgård Hansson teach and lecture at schools of architecture in Sweden and abroad. They also represent the Swedish Association of Architects as members of jury for architectural competitions.
