BERIT WELLS 1943-2009
Berit Wells died peacefully in Hörby, Sweden, on August 11, 2009.
Berit´s career was almost entierly carried out within the framework of the Swedish Institute at Athens. She was Assistant Director in 1985-1986, and again from 1992 until she became Director in 1994. From 2003 and to her death she was employed by the Institute as Director fo the Kalaureia Research Program. The personnel of the Institute and the Kalaureia Research Program have lost a colleague and a dear friend.
